This story is incredible, hard to believe, and totally insane. The simple idea of building a bunker for the Y2K for the first place is solely crazy. At least the man went out to see the light of the day. Moreover, it would be interesting to talk with this guy because he is so lost now on how things are going around. It would be like interviewing a time traveller, who is still in the year 1999. He has, ironically, a clear and clean head about things that are happening in our society since he hasn’t been pushed to accept them. It would be fascinating to hear his opinion about the present.
I know that this blog is totally off topic, and has no direct relationship with what we are dong in the IA. However, it is incredible how this bizarre story got my attention so much that stayed present in my mind. Nevertheless, what made this news awesome was the conclusion the author draws upon the anecdote- not only the story itself. I believe that, although our magazine is primarily about factual understanding, there must always be some space for personal opinion (which must, however, be supported by strong arguments and facts).
